課程概述 |
This distant education course is offered by Natioanl Taiwan University along with Kyoto University from Japan in a real-time conference type. Course materials will cover topics that include but not limited to：fundamental concepts and logics in biology; biological methods; discovery of cellular structure and function, nucleus, and the central dogma; biological technology. |

課程目標 |
The main objective of this course is to understand life on the molecular and cellular level. Special emphasis is placed on preparing students the ability to comprehend the biological processes and the fundamentals of structural and functional genetics. |

課程要求 |
The course is conducted in English with special emphasis on presentations and discussions. Students are required to present on selected papers that are relevant to the respective topics given during class lecture, participate in classroom discussions, and a final term paper. Grades will be given according to attendance, presentation and discussion, and term papers. |
